Downtown Durham on the Move

It's fun to be in Downtown Durham right now. Why?
Watch this building come down at 9 Madbury Road:
Now watch what's going up:
After many years of hard work to attract reinvestment in downtown properties, a new Durham is beginning to take shape.
This kind of project doesn't just happen- it takes the energy and fearlessness of a true entrepreneur to drive redevelopment, teamed with a willing town government and supportive community.
Durham is lucky to have Matt Crape taking riskson mixed use buildings like this new one. Idea Greenhouse wouldn't exist with Matt's willingness and appreciation for entrepreneurs. His first building at 8 Jenkins Court is our home, and he's building more office and commercial space at 9 Madbury. The new building will become a landmark structure for the future of the downtown.
So what businesses will fill this new building?
I'm rooting for new restaurants and cafes to add to our dining mix. The rooftop deck on the fourth floor of the new building presents and incredible opportunity for the right restauranteur. Office space and other professional services needed too.
Are you looking for new, customizable space to start or grow your business? We'd love to connect you to Matt and his project and see what great idea you can grow in our revitalized Downtown Durham. You can reach Matt and his development team through their website, or call him at 203-339-0370.
This new building is just the beginning. Why not bring your business downtown too?
