Mentoring Startup TurnRight Launches Beta at UNH
Sunday, September 16 2012 19:49
Idea Greenhouse is pleased to announce a new Business Sponsor and part-time tenant: TurnRight Advice Solutions!
TurnRight is a career advice network that connects college students, alums, and industry professionals to help guide student career choices during college, explore career decisions, and find internships or jobs.
You'll notice the word "Beta" in the TurnRight logo, and that's because they are just getting launched this fall. Based in Cambridge with nationwide ambitions, TurnRight chose the University of New Hampshire as its first school site.
UNH Alum and Co-Founder Bob Phillipsis no stranger to campus. He chairs the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) Advisory Board, and is a frequent visitor to Durham.
With TurnRight, Bob is turning his passion for mentoring UNH students and helping them make career connections into a business.
The TurnRight online network is a very impressive web tool already, but they are seeking more beta testers to help them iron out the kinks. We invite all UNH Alumni and current students to give the site a try.
The "Signin with LinkedIN" feature is particularly slick, importing all your information and profile pic right into the network.
Remember, the site is for UNH alumni, staff, and students only (for now.) In due time, TurnRight will be at your alma mater too.
One of our goals here at Idea Greenhouse is to connect UNH students with learning and career opportunities that naturally come together when you put a startup community next to a college campus. TurnRight is a terrific platform and business built to make this connecting easier and more effective.
So go ahead, UNH alums and students, and jump on in!
