Cube Spaces
Cube spaces available- Contact Us
We offer semi-private cube space with built-in desk and cabinets like those pictured to the right.
"Semi-private" means that your space is dedicated to your use only, and may have some sound-proofing and visual barriers. Access to your cube area, however, will not be protected by any locking doors. Personal effects and valuables should be stored away when you're not in your cube area, as casual guests of the IGH could wander into your area.
Be sure to compare the Cube options to the Desk and other office offerings.
Cube rental include these benefits:
24/7 access to the larger IGH space through use of a swipe card, access code, or combination TBD.
Heat, A/C, a reasonable amount of electricity (i.e. computers and lights, not space heaters and heat lamps), and high-speed internet
Access to the shared kitchen, bathroom, and "drop in" open space within IGH.
All shared facilities will be professionally cleaned on a regular schedule. IGH will provide paper, cardboard, and other recyling
Private meeting space upon reservation
Large event/group meeting space upon reservation and in coordination with other IGH events/uses
Free admission to any/all IGH sponsored events in Durham or anywhere else
Other Member benefits as they evolve (i.e. access to other additional spaces, regional "passport" to other coworking spaces, etc)
What's Not Included in the Rent?
Parking (Note: "all day" parking permits are available from the Town of Durham for about $13/month. Learn more about parking near IGH.)
Important Considerations
Lease Compliance: You will be subject to the terms of our lease with the building owner, as well as to additional sublease terms.
Events and Coworkers: Because your cube will necessarily be within the open "bullpen" of the space and is not private, you will be able to hear and see other IGH members and guests as they make use of the larger space.
You are expected to respect the generally quiet nature of IGH (i.e. no loud phone calls). You must also expect and tolerate a certain level of noise and commotion as others use the larger IGH space.
